St Joseph’s College has proudly revealed its new Strategic Plan, celebrating with the community at the launch event on 12 June.
The 2025-2028 Strategic Plan recognises the growth in the College, and we are excited about the future and proud of the opportunities this will create for our students, staff, and the broader community.
Together we will continue to build a vibrant and dynamic educational environment that nurtures the potential of all.
St Joseph’s College Principal Jim Brennan said the plan acknowledges the importance of individual growth for the students, while setting bold and ambitious targets.

“At the centre of this very plan are the 950 young men and women from our 700 families who we are in partnership with,” Mr Brennan said.
“This plan draws on the College’s Ricean Charism to provide a holistic and liberating education. Our strategic tagline of ‘Empowering Minds, Enriching Hearts’ speaks directly to this.”
“I wish to extend my sincere thanks to our college community who engaged in providing feedback over the last twelve months to inform our plan for the next four years,” he said.
Mr Brennan and student leaders presented the Plan to Toowoomba Catholic Schools Executive Director Dr Pat Coughlan.
“The St Joseph’s College Strategic Plan, Towards 2028, is the culmination of extensive reflection and discovery, where the College community has sought to understand not only who they are but who they aspire to become,” said Dr Pat.
A key feature of the previous strategic plan was the completion of a $13million building project which included a building extension, adding 8 new classrooms, 3 science labs and a gym, as well as a new staff car park and bus shelter.
College Captain Timothy Kist said the continued expansion of modern facilities at the College were an exciting feature of the new plan.
“Having great classrooms, sporting and cultural facilities always make you feel better when you are learning, and that we know the school really values us,” Timothy said.
