Towards 2028 Strategic Plan

The Strategic Planning process is integral to achieving the College’s vision and mission. In 2025, St Joseph’s College commenced a new four-year strategic planning cycle in alignment with the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Diocese School Renewal and Improvement Procedure.

Our 2025-2028 Strategic Plan recognises the growth in our College, and we are excited about the future and proud of the opportunities this will create for our students, staff, and the broader community. Together we will continue to build a vibrant and dynamic educational environment that nurtures the potential of all.

At St Joseph’s College, Toowoomba, we are committed to preparing our students for an ever-changing world. Our Strategic Plan is a testament to our dedication to providing a holistic and liberating education, inspired by the story of Jesus Christ and our Ricean Charism. Our Strategic Plan has been intentionally crafted within our community, ensuring its depth and breadth reflect our collective vision.

We aim to form agentic learners who embody a contemporary Catholic worldview as they contribute to an ever-changing global society. We support our students to be confident, capable, and compassionate individuals who meaningfully contribute to their community, navigating and thriving in an evolving world. Our Strategic Plan provides a roadmap for our community that empowers our learners to follow their passions and pathways.

Our strategic pillars are founded on a clear appreciation of consultation, collaboration, and dialogue in conjunction with research to contextualise our current and future internal and external environment.

This plan acknowledges the importance of individual growth for our young people, while setting bold and ambitious targets. The strategic intents are presented within the strategic pillars and according to the four domains outlined in the Toowoomba Catholic Schools: School Renewal and Improvement Procedure.
