The St Joseph’s College Difference
At St Joseph’s, we strive for quality in everything we do.
We have educated generations of young people, shaping futures in a Catholic context. We embrace every student as an individual and value accomplishments across all areas including academic, sporting, artistic and creative achievements.
Congratulations to our teacher, Mandy Goodman, on achieving Highly Accomplished Teacher certification through the Queensland College of Teachers.
Highly Accomplished Teacher certification recognises educators who demonstrate outstanding classroom practice, lead by example and make a meaningful contribution to the learning and professional growth of colleagues. It is awarded to teachers who consistently improve outcomes for students while strengthening teaching practice across their school community.
We are incredibly proud of Mandy and this well-deserved achievement. Mandy now joins fellow St Joseph's College teachers Natasha Digweed and Maree Harman as Highly Accomplished Teachers (HATs), with our College now proudly home to three HATs who have achieved this prestigious national certification. ... Some connections last a lifetime.
It was a pleasure to welcome back Jeff Davidson, Danny Mills, Neil Canning, Mick Pirie and Greg O'Regan from the Class of 1969. 57 years later, their visit was a reminder that while much has changed, the spirit of SJC – and the friendships formed here – endure.
Their reflections and heartfelt advice for today's students showed that some of life's greatest lessons grow richer with time, and that being part of SJC doesn't end at graduation.
Thank you for continuing to be part of the SJC story. ... See MoreSee Less

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Our College community has once again come together in support of the Vinnies Winter Appeal, collecting blankets, warm clothing and non-perishable food to help those experiencing hardship in our local community this winter.
Led by our Just Joey's students, the appeal is a reminder that service is at the heart of who we are.
The appeal also gave students the opportunity to meet Ms Julie Inskip from the St Vincent de Paul Society, who shared insights into the realities of homelessness and how practical action can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
We were also proud to present Ms Inskip with a $1,320 donation from our Year 10 Business students, raised through their Business Stalls earlier in Term 2.
A heartfelt thank you to every student, staff member and family who contributed. Every donation, no matter how big or small, reflects the compassion of our College community and our shared commitment to supporting those in need.
