Anyone who wishes to teach at St Joseph’s College Toowoomba must be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers. Standards which must be met relate to qualifications and to good character. To satisfy the requirements of the Education (Teacher Registration) Act 1988, criminal record checks are conducted on all applicants prior to admission to the Register.

The Teacher Aide's primary role is to ensure the support and development of students and departmental goals of the College. The role will encompass student contact, organising class materials and assisting teaching staff.
