Boys' Summer Uniform

Approved navy school shorts.
College blue shirt (white for Yr 12s) tucked in at all times. Long navy socks pulled up and secured. For year 12 boys, a college tie is mandatory.

Boys' Winter Uniform

Long navy school trousers are to be worn. Long-sleeved school shirt with top button done up. The college tie done up to top button shirt. Sleeves must not be rolled up unless AP Students has announced otherwise for the day only.

Shoes

Conventional black leather lace-up shoes are to be worn with the formal uniform.

Boys' Sports Uniform

College polo shirt and college sports shorts. College sports socks only are to be worn. During winter the college track pants and spray jacket may be worn.

Sports Shoes

Conventional lace-up athletic joggers.

Representative Sport

The College expects a high standard of dress for all sports. Sporting coaches will indicate to students the uniform required for a particular sport. In keeping with the Sunsafe Policy students must wear a college hat when participating in outdoor sport.

During timetabled PE/PT lessons students are to wear the college sports uniform or an approved House-coloured shirt.

Hair

Hair must be neat, tidy and clean and must be kept off the face.

Boys must ensure that their hair is cut conservatively in such a style as to be out of their eyes, above the collar and lower part of the ears and reasonably uniform in length.

No shaved styles (nothing shorter than blade 2).

Hair colour must be of one even, natural colour only. The use of hair products such as gel, wax or mousse must be minimal.

Junior Girls' Summer Uniform

Drop waisted dress with box pleat and knife pleat front and back (length below the knee), sleeve length to above elbow. Plain white socks folded once over the ankle.

Or

Box pleat navy skirt (length below the knee) to be worn with the short sleeve blue over-blouse. Shirt top button and navy tie done up at all times. Plain white socks folded once over the ankle.

Senior Girls' Summer Uniform

Box pleat navy skirt (length below the knee) to be worn with the short sleeve white over-blouse for Yr 12 girls. Shirt top button and navy tie done up at all times. Plain white socks folded once over the ankle.

Or

Drop waisted dress with box pleat and knife pleat front and back (length below the knee), sleeve length to above elbow. Plain white socks folded once over the ankle.

Junior Girls' Winter Uniform

Drop waisted dress with box pleat and knife pleat front and back (length below the knee), sleeve length to above elbow. Navy tights are to be worn. College jumper.

Or

Box pleat navy skirt (length below the knee) to be worn with the short sleeve blue over-blouse. Shirt top button and navy tie done up at all times. Navy tights. College jumper.

Hair

Hair must be neat, tidy and clean and must be kept off the face. If hair needs to be pinned off the face, bobby pins or plain black or brown combs are permitted.

Hairstyles must allow for the correct wearing of the college hat. Hairstyles and colour for all students needs to be conservative and of one even, natural colour only. The use of hair products such as gel, wax or mousse must be minimal.

Girls with hair below the collar must tie it back with black or brown elastic bands. Navy, purple or gold ribbons are permitted.

No shaved styles.

Cosmetics

Any type or amount is not permitted.

Jewellery

Apart from a plain watch, jewellery is not to be worn at the College. The only exception is a small religious symbol worn on the inside of the shirt/dress/blouse.

Neither promotional wrist bands nor anklets are permitted.

One pair of plain, silver or gold, small studs may be worn in the lower ear lobe only. No other piercing is permitted. Medical opinion suggests that piercings will not close over a 24 hour period.

Contravention of the jewellery regulations will result in the incorrect jewellery being placed in a sealed envelope with the student’s details recorded on the outside. This will be held in trust by the respective House Co-ordinator. No responsibility is taken for such items. Items will be returned to the student at the end of term or if a parent/carer comes to the College to collect.
